On March 31, 2019, a certified Beco aqua college seminar was held in our city on the topic of Beboard pilates and active motion, with the presenter and creator of the program, Professor Mariano Solier, who is one of the leaders in aquatic exercise!

The entire organization was organized by All About Aquatics at the multi-purpose gym All Star Top Fitness.

As part of our continuous development and faithfully following the Body-Mind-Spirit triptych, we attended with a representative team of coaches!

We entered the…pleasant! position of the trainee, refreshed our knowledge, enriched our training repertoire and returned to our base to share our knowledge with you and the rest of the Ichthys team.

Our club is growing every day and we are always happy to be prepared, enriching our knowledge and our programs!

The ICHTHYS swimming club, at the first official Swimming Games in its history!

A big dream comes true! The moment has come when our team, our Pisces, our club, took part in official Swimming Competitions for the first time! For many of us, the emotion was particularly great! Especially for those who have been competing for this team, in and out of the pool, literally and figuratively, since 2011, when Pisces was still focused only on its part. baby bathing! And yes, you understood correctly, some of our children who competed with the Pisces logo on their heads but above all in their hearts, have been with us since they were babies! It is moving not only because you see children, whom you literally know before their first steps, but because we know that you are also with us, fellow travelers, from the first steps of Pisces! We are very proud of all our athletes! They are the best! And you parents are the best! and looking back at all these years that we have spent, here at Pisces, we are sure that in this new common beginning for all of us, since it found us together again, success is a given! Congratulations again to our children and of course to our coach Mr. Giannis Giannoulis! The success was HUGE! We continue our daily struggle, each in their own way, until we reach the top! The Swimmer's Festival for boys and girls aged 5 to 9 years, is coming on Sunday, June 9th, at the National Swimming Pool and the Pisces swim team will be there more dynamically than ever! Our little swimmers will participate in the events, play games and relay races, and will all receive commemorative diplomas!

At the initiative of the Swimming Clubs and Coaches of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the E.A.K. of Thessaloniki, with the support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, and with the assistance of the N.A.B.E., the Swimming Day is organized for boys and girls aged 5 to 9 years with the consent of the coaches. The day will be held at the NATIONAL swimming pool (Indoor pool 50m.) on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Starting time 12:00 pm for ages 8-9 years and starting time 13.00 pm for ages 5-6-7 years. The attendance of the swimmers-three must be at least half hour before the start of the games.

PARTICIPATION TERMS

1. Each swimmer is entitled to participate in 1 event.
2. Every swimmer aged 5 - 6 - 7 participating in the competition must have their own fins and swimming board.
3. The series will be held according to age and event and with the consent and proposal of the coach of the club of the participating swimmers-trios.
4. The participation of each swimmer MUST BE MANDATORY ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE HEALTH DECLARATION FROM THE PARENT certifying that there is no health problem and that he/she can participate in the day.
5. The participation cost for each swimmer is €10, which will be deposited with the organizing authority by each club.

Awards: After the end of the activities, all swimmers will be awarded commemorative "PARTICIPATION" diplomas and competition medals.

It would be a good idea to purchase caps and t-shirts from our secretariats - for those of you who have not already done so - for our strong presence, cohesion, homogeneity and above all the unity of our team!

This summer we will have the pleasure of hosting at Our swimming pool in Kalamaria the summer camp for children prepared for the second consecutive year by the inspired team of UP move&play!

UP is a pioneering multi-purpose fitness center with high aesthetics, where the goal is the harmonious development and training of the entire body, so that gymnastics becomes a “game” for all ages! After all, this is what we also advocate here at Ichthys!

So, we are waiting for you, UP, to play and stir up the waters of our pool with your wonderful team!!!

On April 20 and 21, just before Easter, we had the opportunity to experience a well-organized event with a lot of fun, inspiration and creativity: the 6th Spring Bazaar of the Friends of Merimna at Warehouse C' in the Port. An established event in the city to support Merimna's work, which provides psychological support to children and families experiencing serious illness or death.

Over 3,000 visitors rushed to participate in the thematic events, workshops and activities, inspired by the Wild West and the Cultures of Central America! A wonderful bazaar of clothing, toys, candles, books, gifts and delicious homemade sweets was set up by the amazing volunteer team of the Friends of Merimna, while an imaginative setting with totems, cowboys and Indians, and a huge Indian teepee tent in the central area of the event took young and old on a journey!

The Pisces Swimming Team participated with great joy and enthusiasm, preparing exclusively for the event an interactive game of sports, myths and riddles, teamwork and cooperation! Thus, we played, laughed and discovered together with the children “The Great Secret of the Aztecs”, the secret ultimately of all civilizations: that only through the triptych “body-mind-spirit” and the harmonious cooperation of people do we reach happiness!!!

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts the wonderful volunteer team of Friends of Merimna, and especially their President Mrs. Ariane Kotsi for the excellent cooperation, but also all of you who participated with all your heart!!!

A complete artistic effort has been in preparation for months by the volunteer group THE CYCLE OF LIFE of the social association TREE OF LIFE. The reason for the theatrical performance “EVERYTHING”, which will be presented at 7, 8 and 9 June 2019 in Royal Theatre and is aimed at the whole family!

The purpose is sacred, as the proceeds from the performances will support the project:

– the Spastic Society of Northern Greece (ESVE),

– the Humanitarian Organization “Kids Save Lives”,

– the Voluntary Social Care Organization “Hugs for Children”,

– The “Youthorama” Association (A Ball For All) for special balls for blind children.
