For many years, Ichthys Aqua Club has been running a unique Aqua Yoga program for pregnant women in Thessaloniki, specially designed for the expectant mother and her baby. Aqua Yoga for pregnant women is a specially designed form of exercise in the
water based on the principles of yoga and adapted to the needs of
pregnancy.

I am Nikolas Hadjigiakoumis and many parents think that I am an amphibian. Others think that I don't walk and only swim. Of course, this is not true, because in the hours that I am not in the water, I simply like to take care of and develop the two things that I love so much. My family and the Pisces swimming team. And it involves a lot of running, but twice as much joy.

Playing in the pool with the kids and having them look me in the eye, as their first teacher, firstly moves me and secondly makes me love them very much. And they know this. How can you hide from the kids? They know everything anyway. Except of course swimming, which my team and I teach them!

I am Stella, a midwife — and above all, a companion to the women who trust me.
Water is my element — not by chance, as an Aquarius. Through my long-term collaboration with the Pisces swimming pool, I have accompanied many women in their pregnancies through aquanatal yoga, integrating obstetric knowledge with the natural wisdom of the body.
For me, water is preparation for birth. It is the place where the body relaxes, the breath is freed, and the woman connects essentially with her baby — a baby that already lives within its own aquatic environment. There begins the deep, inner preparation for the ultimate and most sacred event: birth.
Having experienced water birth myself, I felt its power deeply. An experience of peace, flow, and safety — a calm, smooth, and completely natural transition, in an environment familiar to the baby and protective to the mother. An experience that remains indelibly etched in the soul.
This is what I offer: my deep love for midwifery — holding space for every woman to give birth with peace, confidence, and faith in herself.

Even once a week, since you don't have to change your program every day, you can enjoy the countless benefits of Aqua Yoga and at the same time be served from afar, even from Halkidiki!

Access is easy and the environment of the space has been designed to offer safety and comfort to every expectant mother, while the sanitary conditions are excellent, both inside and outside the pool, as confirmed by the health service during every unannounced check.
