The time has come! The sweet hour of parting!

We wish you a wonderful summer! We will remain closed from 1/8/19 to 18/8/19 because we have a lot to do!

We have to collect. sun rays to fill up on Vitamin D! We have to stare at the sea and the sunset for a long time! Let's pack up colors to make the winter days brighter! 

And if you find us half asleep, relaxed on a deck chair, leave us there… We collect dreams! We collect images and inspiration to become even more creative after the summer!

We hope you do the same with absolute confidence that you are doing the right thing…

How did you spend your time with us this year? Like every year, we want you to show us our bad sides but also to rejoice in our good ones! For this reason, we have prepared our new questionnaire for you to fill out. Please dedicate your time, your love and your advice to us so that we can become better!

The questionnaires you complete at the end of each year are for us the most important food for thought and a guide for important future steps for our course.

REPORTING - GOAL SETTING
SWIMMING COMPETITIONS

This year we will not dwell on the report… We will only point out that this year a lifelong dream began! The participation of the pre-competitive team of the ICHTHYS swimming club in official swimming competitions! For many of us, the emotion was particularly great! Especially for those who have been competing for this team, in and out of the pool, literally and figuratively, since 2011! Children who have been swimming with us before their first steps, are now competing with the Pisces symbol on their heads and making us all proud with their amazing effort! For us, this is the most important achievement of this year! And all this effort will go even higher with what we are preparing for you… We will experience it all up close…
EDUCATIONAL METHOD

The results of our questionnaire show that we feel your needs! As is known, our main difference with existing educational methods is that our teaching is done in the form of a game.
We have therefore created different ways of approaching and communicating for each child and their age. It is important for us to know our children in the best possible way and to plan the best way of approaching them.
So, every week, after meetings and discussions between our coaches, we create new interactive games and materials that suit each swimming section.
Furthermore, beyond the child-centered approach that is our innovation, in our effort to evolve we create new programs for adults in and out of the water. Knowing the trends in swimming, we bring the most modern swimming programs from abroad and adapt them to our own data.
TELEPHONE EXCHANGE

In order to meet your ongoing needs for better communication (regarding finding a position, finding a replacement, declaring absence, etc.), a call center will operate in communication with our computer system, where you will be able to be informed about all areas and all services.

One of the most basic values of Pisces is empathy! In Pisces we learn from every role (parent-partner-teacher) to listen. We make a great effort for this… because only when you observe does evolution come. Whoever has eyes sees and whoever has ears hears…
Thank you for another wonderful year and the new one that is coming is very promising!

We would like to thank the school principal, Mrs. Persa Psalti, and the Pontian Ladies' Care for the initiative of including children's swimming in their summer program, and especially for their trust in the Pisces Swimming Team!

We feel great gratitude for the wonderful teachers at their school, for their impeccable cooperation and their response to consistently and joyfully undertake the implementation of the program!

Finally, a big thank you to the school's parents for their trust and to their amazing "ARGO-navtopoulas" for the wonderful moments we spent together!!

What can one say about this school? 

For their pioneering pedagogical approach, for their willingness to participate in their parenting school last September and talk about infant and toddler swimming, for their trips to our pool, for their support, kind words and love...

Now we have an even greater joy! 

The Saffron Kids will be swimming and playing in our pool during their summer camp! 

We thank Anna Zafiriou and Marianna Mavridou for all of the above and most of all for the trust you show us!!!

With great emotion and unspeakable joy, we are completing this year, for the 3rd consecutive year, our wonderful collaboration with the “O Mikrokosmos” Nursery and Kindergarten! And, yes, the joy is unspeakable, because on the faces of Myrtos and Mr. Dimitris Kymbaris, owners of the school, we have found two allies and supporters in our swimming and educational work over the years. Two people with a common philosophy with ours: in the holistic education of young children (mind-body-spirit), in the importance of their swimming education and their health, and above all in building the children's self-confidence in and out of the water!

A big thank you to the teachers of Mikrokosmos, and specifically to Dimitra, who we met this year, for her impeccable cooperation and wonderful comments on the development she observed in the children's psychology! You are our heroines! And we know very well that without your cooperation, your sense of responsibility and love for the children, and your "motherly" care in the locker rooms, where you sweat and sweat, the implementation of the program would not be the same!

An even bigger thank you, from all of us, to you, the parents of Mikrokosmos, for entrusting us with your children and for sharing countless moments of play and joy with them!!!

Have a nice summer, Microcosm! Keep making the world “bigger”!!!

Consistent with the pool appointment, the Pisces pre-season team attended the competitions held at the National Swimming Pool on 09/06/2019! This was the second time that our athletes participated in official swimming competitions!

Once again, they made us all proud with their amazing effort! Within a short period of time from the team's first official swimming competitions, all our athletes managed to beat their times and fill themselves with confidence for the demanding continuation! Before the start of the competitions, the feelings of anxiety and impatience were obvious. However, after the end of the competitions, joy and satisfaction took their rightful place on the faces of our young athletes after they saw that their persistent effort had paid off!

Another swimming chapter was written with a positive sign, but the effort continues! The competitions will continue and we are sure that today's pre-competition team of Ichthys will move forward dynamically! It will make us all proud and first and foremost themselves!

On the same day, the Swimmer's Day was held for our youngest children. The excitement there was great, as was the "promise" our little fish made for the future! They will undoubtedly be there when the time comes to take over from our big fish!

On 3/6/19, the children from the nursery assistant and nurse department of the 1st EPAL of Kalamaria visited our pool in Kalamaria! Our Julia gave the students a tour of our space and gave them all the information about the benefits of baby swimming. We are particularly happy to inspire the new generation! We tried to convey to them the love for what we do! All the children showed great interest and we are sure that they will have a wonderful career! And who knows? When you open up and are together, everything grows more and more!! We would like to thank Mrs. Vasso Tzimourtou for the trust of her students and the excellent professionalism of all of you at the 1st Primary School of Kalamaria!
