Gestalt Parent Psychoeducation:

I'm learning to take care of myself, I'm learning to take care of my child.

When a child comes into the world, one of the first feelings we parents report - along with joy, the emotion and the tenderness for this new "our" creature - it is the immense feeling responsibility that we feel towards something that seems so small and sensitive. As parents, we are faced with worries and conflicts every day, about the future of the child and about our relationship itself. In this new role, we begin to learn constantly through our inevitable mistakes and difficulties. Many times we manage quite well, either instinctively or by learning from our experience. In other cases, the initial difficulty remains and repeats itself.

Thus, thinking about the difficulties that parents and families face today, we created a series of psychoeducational seminars for new parents.

There are 2 possible options:

Preschool Parents' School

The Parent School is a sequence of group sessions (a stable group of about 10 parents, every second Thursday of the month) that aims to psychoeducation, the support and the empowerment usMore specifically, it includes a combination of theoretical knowledge and  experiential exercises which lay the foundations of practical learningThis experiential series of seminars is aimed at all of us, parents of preschool children (0-6 years old), who have questions, concerns and concerns about our parental role.

Start: Thursday February 23, 2017.

Thematic Speeches

This series of open talks with 7 independent thematic units, takes the form of lectures, on more specialized topics that interest us every time. It is mainly addressed to parents of preschool children (0-6 years old). The aim of the talks is to expand our theoretical knowledge on specific educational issues, regarding the foundation of emotional and social skills within the family, which contribute to its psychosocial and mental development and evolution. Theoretical basis, discussion, and case studies will be our tools!

Start: Friday  February 24, 2017.
