For the 2nd consecutive year, The Friends of Merimna Thessaloniki are organizing a picnic for young and old! The Pisces Swimming Team will be there with unique, original games and many surprises.
In an area of 18 acres, which also houses the Equestrian Center of Macedonia (IKEM), children of all ages, together with their parents and friends, will have the opportunity to ride horses, enjoy nature and take part in original group outdoor games and artistic creative workshops, the Sunday, October 6, from 11 am to 5 pm.
They will also be able to browse among stalls selling books and toys, as well as participate in the lottery, in order to win many rich prizes.
The entrance ticket is for children only and costs: 10 euros and includes a lunch box, pony ride and participation in the workshops. Parents are welcome for free and will be able to enjoy unique flavors at the group's bar, paying the corresponding fee.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Merimna Counseling Center in Thessaloniki (Counseling Center – Merimna Thessaloniki), which offers specialized psychological support to children, adolescents and families dealing with illness and death.
