The Swimmer's Day has become an institution!

The children have a fantastic time at the swimmer's celebration! That's why our participation is becoming an institution in the Swimming Day "The swimmer's celebration" for boys and girls aged 5 to 9 years old! On Sunday, June 3, 2018, you will find us at the National Swimming Pool from the morning for many competitive thrills, games, relay races, commemorative diplomas and many, many well done to our little athletes!

At the initiative of the Swimming Clubs and Coaches of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the E.A.K. OF THESSALONIKI and  with the support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki , a Swimming Day is organized for boys and girls aged from 5 until 9 years oldThe conference will be held at NATIONAL  swimming pool (Indoor pool 25m. & outdoor pool 50m.) Sunday 03 June 2018.Starting time 10:00 p.m. for ages 8-9 years old and start time 11.00  pm for ages 5-6-7 years oldThe arrival of coaches at least 1 hour before the start of the competitions, and of swimmers-trios at least half an hour before the start of the competitions.

Terms of participation – swimming competitions for children 5-9 years old

  1. Each swimmer is entitled to participate in 1 event.
  2. Each 5-6-7 year old swimmer participating in the first event must have their flippers and swim board with them.
  3. Each club participates with an unlimited number of swimmers-three per age group.
  4. The series will be held according to age and event and with the consent and proposal of the coach of the club of the participating swimmers-trios.
  5. The participation of each swimmer MUST BE MANDATORY ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE HEALTH DECLARATION FROM THE PARENT or THE CLUB certifying that there is no health problem and that she can participate in the day.
  6. The team is necessarily accompanied by the club's coach, who is also responsible for placing the swimmers in the rows, while they then accompany them to the remaining stations with the activities as described below.

For the best and safest conduct of the program, groups of children will be accompanied by coaches and lifeguards in and out of the water.

  1. The participation cost for each swimmer is €10. The total amount per club will be deposited before the start of the day to a competent representative of the teams.

Awards: After the end of the activities, all swimmers will be awarded commemorative "PARTICIPATION" diplomas and competition medals.

The participation declarations must be submitted to our secretariats by Wednesday,  May 30, 2018.

After the end of each event, the balloon relay race & activities program with three stations follows in the large outdoor pool.

After the activities, the children will be given commemorative diplomas and medals by great athletes. A necessary condition is the active participation of all the coaches of the small pool for the safe conduct of the activities. There will be musical coverage of the games and activities.
