The study for the organization and configuration of the interior spaces was carried out by the architectural firm Babyecodesign.gr, which specializes in the design of children's spaces with a child-centered approach. The aim of the architectural study of the Ichthys swimming team was to create a functional & modern swimming pool that meets the needs of children and adults. The central idea is the combination of maximum functionality, high aesthetics and recognizable identity, applying basic principles of the child-centered approach to architectural design: proper arrangement of spaces aiming to meet the respective needs of each age, color study with the appropriate color stimuli with colors of natural mild chemistry, lighting study and fixtures, accessories & furniture made of recyclable materials in modern simple lines. The architectural study and renovation of the space was carried out with a modern architectural perspective, always with the needs of the Ichthys swimming team as a priority and main guideline, aiming for the ideal child-centered design solution. The program requirements defined a space for all ages, which will be an ideal gathering place for relaxation and training for water activities. The basic architectural principle was the clear separation & proper functionality of the main activities. More specifically, the program of the space on the Ground Floor includes: reception area, swimming equipment sales area, 2 locker rooms with changing rooms, 10 showers, indoor, heated, sunny swimming pool, (with basic cleaning ozone, inorganic chlorine in a percentage of drinking water and UV rays) & respectively on the first floor: adult waiting area with full visual contact with the pool, refreshment center, children's creative activity area, breastfeeding area, as well as & an office space.
