World Baby Swimming Congress 2016-Stockholm
Last weekend we had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful seminar, with impeccable organization and unique speakers, in Sweden, the Nordic baby swim Conference.
We gathered from all over the world, America, Australia, Europe and Asia, people who love water and children, to unanimously agree on how wonderful the work we do and how many countless benefits we offer to the children! Of course we also got some great ideas!
One of the most important things we learned is that a four-year study in Australia showed that children who swim acquire not only motor skills – which is to be expected – but also language skills, up to 16 months earlier than children who do not attend a program.
An equally notable finding in the research was that in Australia, it was almost impossible (!) to find children who did not swim, as everyone has been participating in programs for months!!!… Let's see when we will achieve this in our own coastal country!
We learned this and much more in Stockholm! We thank all the participants and of course the organizers for the unique experience!
See you again in two years in Iceland!
Thank you all for the wonderful sharing of knowledge, ideas and love!! See you all again in two years in Iceland!!!
