A Wilderness Bushcraft camp 

For 7 working days we will climb daily to Sheikh Su where the most exciting program of real living outside in nature awaits us. The best instructor in all of Greece, in matters of living in nature, welcomes us to teach us "the secrets of the forest". 

What is Wilderness Bushcraft?

What does our BushCraft Camp include?

From the June 16, once schools close, we will embark on a unique journey into the world of the forest.

A special group of children who want to experience autonomy in nature, from the ages of 6 to 15 years old., they will be able to come into contact, but also dive into real-life learning, at a camp in the forest, the like of which has never been done before. Company with most experienced Outdoor Living instructor and our coaches, from 8-9 am until 2:00 pm -3:30 pm daily, we will live for 7 working days, until June 24, a unique excursion into nature and its gifts. 

The program includes the transportation of children to and from the forest from 3 central stops in the city, which will be announced later, based on participation.

In summary, it includes all trainings, (games in nature, lighting a fire, cooking in nature, knowledge of herbs, flora and fauna of the forests, etc.), hiking and transportation. 

In the program, it is good for each child to have their own lunch box, along with a snack, fruit and a snack. However, a tea with seasonal herbs, plenty of water is offered daily and sometimes we will cook with the children in nature, with products that we will provide and we will inform you in good time 2 days or one day before, in the Viber group that we will form with the participants.

The Bushcraft Survival Summer Camp program is appropriately designed for the age groups of the children who will participate and is completely safe. During Bushcraft, and while the children are in the mountains, it is a good idea to wear long clothing

Who is our instructor?

Yiannis Varossis is an experienced trainer with many years of training in rescue groups, with a passion and dedication to nature. It will show us how to appreciate the small and large creatures of nature, how to respect and enjoy nature, without abuse, but with love. This is a man who is a walking encyclopedia and his contagiousness in empirical and experiential knowledge of the forest is unique.

Naturally, the Our wonderful coaches and a psychologist - also a member of our team in the secretariat with many years of training in her field - will be assisting in the valuable work of our Trainer Yiannis, but also of course to our children for the help, care and entertainment they will need.

Where will our BushCraft Summer Camp take place?

In Sheikh Su, in the forest of our city, near the Countryside, in a specially designed space, for animal breeding, events and training of children and trainers, with safe paths for hiking, as well as indoor and outdoor spaces, suitable for training children and adults.

What are the benefits of participating in our BushCraft Camp?

This knowledge aims to practical understanding of nature, in learning and experiences, absolutely necessary for our lives, both for the body (food and water), as well as for the mind us, (how to teach him to invent, to create but also to be quiet) but mainly for our soul, (how to feed itself, through love for nature, but also mutual aid, the support, the cooperation and the teamwork) in natural conditions. 

This camp is intended to The central goal is to give children a deep knowledge of environmental education, but also of the power of mutual assistance and togetherness.

*For cancellations made up to 5 days before the start of the period, the deposit amount will be refunded. For cancellations made after 5 days, the deposit amount will be retained.

In the program, it is good for each child to have their own lunch box, along with a snack, fruit and a snack. Also, sometimes we will cook with the children in nature, with products that we will provide and we will inform you in time 2 days or one day before, in the Viber group that we will form with the participants. 

*If you choose to have your child looked after at our place until 4pm, the service is free.

Preventive measures against Covid-19: Our data and operating methods are updated daily according to the most recent provisions announced

This summer we can relax, unwind and have fun. What could be better than for our children to enjoy the summer safely? Rest assured! We are always careful and have taken all the necessary measures to carry out our summer program, always in accordance with the latest ministerial provisions, for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19.

Regarding ensuring the health of all of us, you will be asked to provide new medical certificates stating that the child is healthy and that he is allowed to participate in mountain sports.

  1. Furthermore, regarding bus travel, we maintain all the existing standards that apply to this day. The capacity of the bus now amounts to 100%. For the safety of all of us, we recommend that passengers wear masks. The bus is disinfected by a special disinfection company every afternoon. As the children enter the bus, we recommend that they use antiseptic.
  2. Regarding our stay on the mountain, the places that will host us for our activities are taking all measures in accordance with the ministry's current provisions regarding covid-19.
  3. If a child has previously had COVID-19: 5 days must have passed since the first day of illness and they must be symptom-free. We also recommend a rapid test.
