WHAT IS IT?

It follows a specific methodology, which combines technique, discipline, and learning, while at the same time the child feels like they are playing, which is very important for them to love water.

Aimed at children aged 2.5 to 5 years old, who are at the right age to dare to try their hand at swimming, without the presence of their parents. This age is ideal, as children begin to develop greater autonomy and participate in activities outside the family environment.

Our coaches are specially trained to encourage this independence and help children gain confidence in the water.

Although progress is easier for children who start young in baby swimming classes, even if a child starts at this age, we will support them with all the necessary equipment, so that they believe in themselves and progress to independent swimming with joy and without fear! And of course, all of this always happens through the game and without pressure.

EQUIPMENT FOR LEARNING TO SWIM

The following equipment is required for our program:

  • Supporting documents: Medical certificate from a pediatrician and an ID photo (optional).

  • Equipment: Swimsuit, swimming cap, goggles, non-slip flip-flops, bathrobe or towel, cosmetics for children, swimming bag and woolen cap for leaving the area.

Toys, noodles and other swimming equipment are provided by us.

Important note: You will need to bring a hair dryer.

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT TEACHING CHILDREN TO SWIM

How often are the lessons held and how long do they last?

Lessons are held once a week. The duration is 30 minutes for children 2.5-4 years old and 40 minutes for children 5 years old.

Is swimming suitable for all seasons?

Undoubtedly, yes! Swimming is not only appropriate for all seasons, but it is also necessary, especially in a coastal country like ours. During the winter, when viruses are more intense, swimming strengthens children's immune systems.

What do children learn in each section?

 Our program includes a comprehensive methodology for learning to swim for preschool and later ages. Despite the seriousness of the method, the child feels like they are playing, which is crucial for them to love the water. Children are introduced to all swimming styles (freestyle, backstroke, frontstroke, butterfly).

How long before swimming can a child eat?

It is a good idea to wait at least 3 hours after your last meal before class.

Can my child join a swimming lesson if he is a beginner?

Of course! We create new classes throughout the year. The child will be placed in a class with children of the same age and level, and will be encouraged to overcome any fears, with the appropriate methods.

Are the frequency and duration sufficient for my child's age?

The duration and frequency of the lessons are ideal for the age of the children participating in our programs. With this frequency, children enjoy the benefits of swimming at the appropriate age, which they have chosen and for which they show consistency and responsibility. Thus, they achieve development and the correct technique at the appropriate stage of their development, when they are ready to “enter” the subject. Ideally, from the age of 7 onwards, children can take on more responsibilities in sports, if they wish. Their participation is always optional and we do not pressure them, on the contrary, we encourage their natural desire to participate in training.
