The Pisces swimming team in collaboration with Bayline urges you to read the following tips for the sea.<\/p>\n

Always swim with company!<\/p>\n
Make sure to always be close to the lifeguard and follow his instructions.<\/p>\n
Always swim close to the shore. It is better to swim parallel to the shore than perpendicular to it and drift away. Do not stray far from the beach or buoys.<\/p>\n
Learn to recognize an ocean current. If you get carried away by the current, NEVER swim against it. You will get exhausted and end up in the same spot.<\/p>\n
Do not dive in unknown waters or from high places.<\/p>\n
Swim at least 3 hours after eating. If you need to eat, choose something light.<\/p>\n
Never call for "help" as a joke, because you could put someone's life in real danger.<\/p>\n
If you feel that you are in danger in the water or are having a cramp, stay calm and ask for help by raising your hand.<\/p>\n
If you feel tired or cramping in the water, lean forward. Take a deep breath and lower your head below the surface of the water. Move your legs to float. Stretch the painful muscle in the opposite direction of the muscle contraction.<\/p>\n
Always dive in the fetal position if it is shallower than 1.5m, especially if you cannot see the bottom.<\/p>\n
When boarding any boat, always wear a life jacket and always report your route.<\/p>\n
Always swim in good weather conditions.<\/p>\n
Rain is not dangerous for swimming, but when there is lightning and thunder you should IMMEDIATELY get out of the water.<\/p>\n
Avoid swimming in rough seas.<\/p>\n
Life jackets and armbands are not lifesaving devices, they are simply flotation aids.<\/p>\n
If you're chasing inflatable balls at sea, be aware that the wind can blow them away and you could be carried dangerously far away.<\/p>\n
If you see someone drowning, throw them a buoyancy aid or call a lifeguard immediately. Avoid saving them with your body.<\/p>\n
A child is prohibited from having access to the sea or the pool alone.<\/p>\n
I always use approved life jackets with an approval number.<\/p>\n
Regarding the pool, make sure that no toys are left in the water or in the surrounding area and ensure that the pool does not have any free entry during the hours you are not present.<\/p>\n
Children need your attention constantly.<\/p>\n
Long hours of exercise (play) and exposure to the sun can cause sunburn and exhaustion.<\/p>\n

My child should be taught proper swimming by professional coaches before the summer season.<\/p>\n
To know how to swim and basic lifeguarding skills.<\/p>\n
To know first aid myself.<\/p>\n
I take care of my personal health and fitness.<\/p>\n
